MTB bike excursion "A" from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria: downhill from the Pico de Las Nieves via Teror to Las Palmas

Easy MTB or road only excursion for each skill level: 1 hour shuttle up to the Pico de Las Nieves, the highest mountain of Gran Canaria. Starting from there at an altitude of 1950 meters up we ride down arround 30 kilometers effortlessly to Las Palmas City. Stopover in Teror is included, one of the nicest villages of the island, especially on sundays you can even visit the picturesque street market around the famous church of Teror.

Bicycle Rental Conditions

We are offering very competitive rental prices, it should be understandable that there exists not any "full comprehensive, all what ever can happen inclusive" insurance - even for 50 € per day not any insurance would accept that risk. So any incident or accident caused by material defect is perfectly assured by our insurance, therefore any other occurrence of damages caused by inproper or unlucky use of the hirer is not assured.

If you treat the bikes responsible and careful you can expect a trouble-free procedure for rentals. We charge a damage deposit, dependend on the bikes value to stimulate proper use, but the damage deposit is not an insurance, when the damage is higher than the deposit, you can be charged with additional costs. It is normal and included in the price, that bikes come back dirty, also normal to bring them back with some minor misadjustments or with a flat tire, no problem - things can happen. Furthermore any deformation, fissure or fracture is not included, because it is regularly based on inappropriate use or lack of care. Please read our FAQ with typical cases, if you have any doubt. 

Generally there exists also no theft insurance, just because not any company could control the risk of theft or fraud, which depends mainly on the carefulness of the hirer. So the bikes should in the day time always be safely chained when parked, but never for a longer period and never at night. Even a strongly chained bike can be highly propably disappear completely or partially overnight. Therefore bikes should be stored in closed rooms because seat and other items can also get stolen.

To get your bike please bring to the handout: Original identity card, passport or driver license and a deposit of  20€ or higher, dependend on the bike. Payment is always due on rental start.
